Week 6 Lab: To meddle with the Devil..

 More brainstorming, featuring stories about the Devil...

Here were the stories of the Devil that stuck out to me from their descriptions and that I read:

The Drunkard's Son

The Three Apprentices

The Evil One and Kitta Grau

The Devil's Bridge at Mynach Falls

The Creation of The Fiddle

So first two stories were just okay. 

BUT... The Evil One and Kitta Grau reminded me of the evil fairy, Gangana. So, I was thinking: Gangana-like fairy works with the devil, just like Kitta Grau. To continue her dark magic, she gives newborn babies to the devil. She takes a fairy baby boy who showed signs of birth defects and put him in the crib of what once was a newborn princess'. The baby princess, though, radiates such goodness that even the evil fairy can't give her up, but she feels guilty and knows the devil will catch her if she keeps the baby, so she gives the baby to the flower fairy, who raises her.

I really liked The Devil's Bridge at Mynach Falls & The Creation of The Fiddle because I feel they could be a good inspiration for the flower-fairy-raised princess and the changeling-evil-prince. The prince, partly raised by the evil-fairy herself, could also work with the Devil and be trained to be evil, just like how the princess was raised to be good.

So with that being said, I was thinking that they could have a mini enemies-to-lovers story OR a lovers to enemies story. Both are so good. If lovers to enemies, they could be secret, forbidden childhood friends who fall in love, but because of the prince's duties to the Devil, they can't be together. It's so heartbreaking but so good.

Okay totally random idea, what if the changeling baby is the CHILD OF the Devil and the evil fairy??
